I see my attempt at blogging once a day has been foiled by Christmas. Bah-humbug and all that good stuff.
Today I noticed something that bugged me. Sometimes when I go to King Kullen, a cashier will greet the person ahead of me, but when it's my turn to pay for my items I don't get greeted. Then when I'm finishing bagging my stuff -- I like doing it for some nostalgic reason -- the cashier greets the person behind me.
Completely skips me!
Where is my courtesy "hello-how-are-you-I-really-don't-care-because-I-hate-this-shitty-job-and-everyone-here?"
Why do I get left out? It doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough for me to notice and I am not happy about it. I wonder if the cashiers have an "every other person" rule and I just happen to be the odd one out.
That is my rant for the night.
Goodnight,
M.
PS. I think this rant is a sign of me getting old.

The cashier is probably just overwhelmed by your virility.
